Caribou Day Celebrations

The community of Anaktuvuk Pass celebrates "Caribou Day" to honour the Nunamiuts' relationship with tuktuk (caribou). On this day, there is a community potlach and feast followed by the drumming and dancing. Watch this video of Caribou Day celebrations in 2008. Enjoy!
